How to Use the Spelling Lab:

Spelling Lab helps kids practice spelling by selecting letters and placing them in the correct boxes to form words. A picture at the top of the screen shows the word to be spelled, and clicking the picture will play the word aloud for extra support.

*Ensure your device's sound is turned on.

Spell the Word: Drag the letters from the right side of the screen to the boxes on the left to spell the word shown by the picture.

Hear the Word: Click on the picture to hear the word that needs to be spelled. This will help your child understand the word they are working on.

Collect Stars: As your child spells words correctly, they can collect stars for motivation. Note that stars are only collected during the game and cannot be used elsewhere.

Navigate Sentences: Use the arrows to go to the next or previous sentence.

*For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome on a desktop computer. If using a phone, ensure it's in landscape mode for optimal viewing and interaction. If you encounter any issues, consider restarting or refreshing the window.
